I have added a BBC news feed to the right hand side of the website. I think it might take a bit long to load, as the page load time can sometimes increase to well over THREE seconds now. I think that I'll have to try and include it using Javascript...once I have a bit more time.

On a different note, I now own a HP netbook & I am loving the long battery life (easily reaches 6 hours, under use). Good job HP!

Finally doing something on my website again. The first and main thing that I have done, is that I have removed the Shoutbox, which was being continiously spammed (oh how I hate them)....

....and the other thing that I have done is to finally make a news post again. Woo!

After spending literally days trying to persuade my NSLU2 (running Unslung linux) to download videos of BBC's iPlayer using get_iplayer, I was forced to recompile flvstreamer to run on the ARM architecture, as I failed to find it anywhere online.

I am now hosting this file for your, uhm, downloading pleasure. The file can be found in the Downloads section, under Software.

Finally, I have done something on my web space! It has taken me almost TWO years to get this far.

I am too lazy to write my own CMS from scratch, so I decided to use a pre-built CMS (after all, why re-invent the wheel?). After a lengthy search (about 20 minutes) I settled on PHP-Fusion as it provides pretty much anything that anyone could ever want on a website.

Well, now to customise it!
